I'd like to learn more about driving search engine traffic to a website based on targeted keywords - but things beyond the SEO "basics".
Assume we understand and use targeted keywords in the appropriate spots in the site's HTML (title tags, headings, etc), but what else should a online marketer focus on to generate more leads/traffic?
There are so many "options" but where is time best spent? Blog posts? Press releases linking back? Creating videos? Social media presence (e.g. Facebook & Google Plus pages, tweets)? Getting other sites to link back to you?

I love to hear different feedback on employee incentive plans that gives them buy in and an opportunity to participate in the growth of the company without giving up equity in the process.
I'd be interested in hearing educated, experience and research based advice on the best way to use social media to grow your brand and interact with customers (or anything else people have thought to do with it). Some possible questions to tackle would be:
1. Why should I use social media? What are my goals?
2. What's the most effective ways to engage people through social media?
3. What mistakes should I avoid making?
4. As search engines are starting to use social media to affect search results, how does it fit into my SEO strategy?
5. If I have a limited amount of resources to devote to it, are there simple things I can be doing that will give me the biggest bang for my buck?
I'm interested in the process that takes place before a new idea or business is launched. Specifically, how do experienced business owners judge the profit potential of different ideas/products. I see a lot of businesses shut their doors because the business model didn't make sense, yet a lot of us don't know which sales and profit metrics are important until it is too late.
Basically hearing from someone who has experience in multiple industries (whether success or failure) and who is willing to talk finances would be interesting.
Just wanted to throw out there my opinion. I think I am very different than the average business joe, and my business is pretty unique in the people I am selling to. That said, for me, I am less in a place of finding out what to do, but the time to do it all as a small business owner. So, finding resources to out source too effectively would be a good thing for me.
If there is interest in learning about taking your business mobile, I would LOVE to present that topic. I have developed my own iPhone and Android apps, built mobile websites for businesses, set up QR code tagging marketing plans, and set up SMS text marketing programs. I have a webinar ready to go, could give it tonight, and even host it on my own for viewing on your own time!
This maybe a little off topic, but something that takes time in my small architectural business is tracking time and tasks on a projects and then turning that information into an invoice. I’d like to find out from others what sort of software and workflows they use when doing this on a Mac.
Hey there! If there is any interest, I would love to present a session on mobile marketing. I even have my presentation active and ready to go as a webinar right now. It's called "what did Barney Fife know about mobile marketing?", and you will learn about how your business can benefit from mobile websites, QR code tagging, and SMS text message marketing. Lasts about 40 minutes or so, including Q&A session.
I'm assuming you posed this question directly to me, since you posted the video on my birthday! ;)
But seriously. I'm interested in getting more advise and knowledge in the top Google Analytics I should be studying every week/month/quarter. There are so many different statistics that mean so many different things, and I feel that I only have a VERY basic understanding of each one. Also, it would be interesting to know - what's a good "bounce rate"? Is 20% bad, for example? How do these numbers look for successful businesses who are blogging and doing a good job with digital marketing?
Best of luck, and thanks for asking.

My business growth is dependent on a nice stream of referrals. What are some of the best ways to encourage your customers to refer your business to others? What functions or activities provide some of the best networking opportunities? I more interested in smaller, more intimate events. I never been that excited about large events especially where there are many other of the businesses of the same type.
