Our Journey

To our clients, colleagues, and friends... we wanted to share a bit about our journey and what we hope to offer the industry moving forward.
The Microfit Group was originally designed to act as "in-house," C-Level support for companies. After a few of these contracts, Microfit co-founder Tony Legrone and I decided to move the firm towards project based work.
Over the course of sixteen-months we worked to help another tech company shore up some of its weaknesses with the end game being a merger of the two companies. When it came time for parties involved to pull the trigger, things fell apart. That's OK... such is business. It was a revealing experience, however, and we found ourselves with a new desire and new direction; to help businesses in a different way than before.
So after dusting off the Microfit brand, we went to work.
A number of things stayed the same, including our critical focus on relationships. But a number of things changed, too. Josh Brennard joined as a Partner, we hired key production staff and brought in a business development team (Meet Our Team). Ten months into this process, we knew we had something... and that it was special.
This new endeavor evolved so much, and looked so different than we originally intentioned four years ago, that we felt it appropriate to fashion a new company identity - one that fit who we had become. We began working with Cayenne Creative (world class guys) and create a series of offerings. Each offering would fall under the Microfit Group, but also be able to stand on it's own two feet.
The first of these offerings is Chronicle, but you will hear about each over the next quarter.
Chronicle has two-core client bases. The first is working with entrepreneurs to create SaaS (Software as a Service) businesses. This work requires more than simply "web development." Aside from the complexity of technology, we find that our staff is uniquely equipped to help our clientele from a business strategy perspective.
The second client we identified would be existing companies of medium to enterprise levels. We've had great success on project after project where we were able to identify decayed technology and processes. Once we identified these weaknesses, we built web applications and mobile solutions that improved the day-to-day operations.
While 2011 was a year of successes for us, we’re making 2012 about new ambitions. We've honed in on what's next, and we can't wait to see how it turns out. We want to thank our clients for their faith in us and for their partnerships. Our new location is at, Innovation Depot (suite 18). We've got ping-pong, bumper pool, poker and nice selection of beverages. So if you're looking to relax and talk tech on a Friday afternoon, stop by, drinks are on us and we’ve got a nice selection. Thanks for reading and again, thank you for supporting us!
